Yuichi Fukuda
Yuichi Fukuda (born July 12, 1968) is a Japanese film director and screenwriter. Born in Oyama, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, he is widely recognized for his contributions to the Japanese comedy genre, frequently directing and writing projects that adapt manga and anime into live-action formats.

Career
Fukuda has maintained a prolific career in both television and film. He is particularly noted for his long-standing collaborations with various actors and his distinct comedic style. His television work includes the popular fantasy-comedy series The Brave Yoshihiko, which began in 2011, and the 2008 mystery-comedy 33 Minute Detective.
In the film industry, Fukuda has directed and written numerous adaptations. His notable filmography includes the live-action Gintama series (2017–2018), Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku (2020), and New Interpretation Records of the Three Kingdoms (2020). He has also worked on adaptations such as HK: Forbidden Super Hero (2013) and Saint Young Men (2024).
