Corporate Background and Foundation

The platform was established through a collaboration between SK Telecom, a major South Korean wireless telecommunications operator, and the country's three primary terrestrial television networks: Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). This partnership brought together telecommunications infrastructure and extensive broadcast content production capabilities to form the streaming service.
