Venus Talk (2014 Film)
Venus Talk (Korean: 관능의 법칙; RR: Gwanneungui Bubchik) is a 2014 South Korean comedy-drama film directed by Kwon Chil-in. The film explores the personal lives, professional challenges, and romantic relationships of three female friends, all in their 40s, as they navigate the complexities of modern life in South Korea.
Plot
The narrative centers on three women: Shin-hye, Mi-yeon, and Hae-young. Shin-hye (played by Uhm Jung-hwa) is a successful cable television producer who remains single. Her life is disrupted when her former partner, Director Lee, announces his marriage to a much younger colleague. Following a night of drinking, she finds herself in an unexpected encounter with a younger man, Hyun-seung (Lee Jae-yoon).
Mi-yeon (Moon So-ri) is a housewife married to Jae-ho (Lee Sung-min). Their relationship is defined by a specific agreement regarding intimacy, which becomes increasingly difficult for them to maintain. Tensions rise when Mi-yeon discovers a hidden item in her husband's desk.
Hae-young (Jo Min-soo) runs a bakery cafe and lives with her adult daughter, Soo-jung (Jeon Hye-jin). She is in a relationship with a carpenter named Sung-jae (Lee Kyoung-young). Hae-young struggles to balance her desire for a private life with her daughter's financial and personal instability, a situation that shifts when her daughter becomes pregnant and marries.

The film was produced by Myung Films and distributed by Lotte Entertainment. Principal photography took place between July 29, 2013, and October 12, 2013, with filming locations including Yangpyeong in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
