During its development phase, the series was known under the early working title Miss Undercover Boss. It took over tvN's Saturday and Sunday 21:10 time slot following the conclusion of Pro Bono, and was subsequently followed by Mad Concrete Dreams on March 14, 2026.

Plot and Synopsis

Set during the late 1990s, the narrative centers on Hong Keum-Bo, played by

Park Shin-Hye. Hong Keum-Bo is an elite supervisor for the Financial Supervisory Service who maintains a focused, professional demeanor. She assumes an undercover identity as a 20-year-old high school graduate named Hong Jang-Mi to investigate suspicious financial fund flows at a securities company.

At the firm, she encounters Shin Jung-Woo, portrayed by

Ko Kyoung-Pyo. Shin Jung-Woo serves as the newly appointed chief executive officer of Hanmin Securities Company and operates as a corporate raider and management consultant. Their paths cross as Shin Jung-Woo recognizes Hong Jang-Mi's facial resemblance to someone he once loved, entangling their lives.
