Tune in for Love (2019 Film)
Tune in for Love (Korean: 유열의 음악앨범; RR: Yooyeolui Eumakaelbum) is a 2019 South Korean romance film directed by Jung Ji-Woo. The film, which features a narrative spanning several years, explores the evolving relationship between two individuals who repeatedly cross paths against the backdrop of changing times.

Plot
The story begins in 1994, on the day singer Yoo Yeol debuts as the DJ for the radio program Music Album. Mi-Soo (Kim Go-Eun) meets Hyun-Woo (Jung Hae-In) at a bakery run by Mi-Soo and her sister, Eun-Ja (Kim Guk-Hee). Hyun-Woo, having recently left a juvenile detention center, begins working at the bakery. Despite an initial sense of apprehension, Mi-Soo and Hyun-Woo develop a close bond. However, Hyun-Woo struggles with guilt regarding a past fatal incident, which creates a barrier between them. Their connection is interrupted when Hyun-Woo is taken away by acquaintances, leading Mi-Soo to believe he will not return. The film follows their attempts to reconnect as their lives intersect periodically over the following years.


Production
The film was directed by Jung Ji-Woo, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lee Sook-Yun. The project marked a reunion between the director and actress Kim Go-Eun, who had previously collaborated on the 2012 film Eungyo. Principal photography commenced on September 1, 2018, and concluded on December 14, 2018. The film was released in South Korea on August 28, 2019, with a runtime of 122 minutes.
