Tori Matsuzaka (松坂桃李, Matsuzaka Tōri, born October 17, 1988) is a prominent Japanese actor originating from Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Standing 181 cm tall and with a blood type of A, he has maintained an active presence in Japanese television and film since his debut.

Career and Early Roles

Matsuzaka initially gained widespread recognition through his tokusatsu role as Takeru Shiba (Shinken Red) in the 2009 television series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, as well as subsequent movie adaptations in the franchise. Transitioning from tokusatsu to mainstream television and cinema, he established a versatile acting career.

In 2013, he received the prestigious Rookie of the Year award at the 36th Japan Academy Prize ceremony held on March 8, 2013, marking a significant milestone in his film career.

Personal Life

On December 10, 2020, Tori Matsuzaka and fellow Japanese actress Erika Toda publicly announced their marriage.
