The Uninvited (2003 South Korean Film)

The Uninvited (Korean: 4인용 식탁; RR: 4 Inyong shiktak) is a 2003 South Korean psychological horror film written and directed by Lee Soo-Youn. The film explores themes of trauma, isolation, and the supernatural through the perspective of an interior designer whose life is disrupted by ghostly encounters.

Plot

Jung-won, an interior designer preparing for his upcoming wedding, experiences a series of disturbing supernatural events after moving into a new home he designed himself. While in his dining room, he begins to see the apparitions of two children. His life takes a turn when he encounters a mysterious woman named Yun, who suffers from narcolepsy and frequently collapses in public. As they bond, Yun reveals her own ability to perceive spirits. Their connection leads Jung-won to share his experiences with her, eventually drawing him into a deeper, more unsettling reality.
