The television series is adapted from the webcomic titled Konya, Himitsu no Kitchen de, written and illustrated by Akiyo Kurosawa, which was published in March 2026. The screen adaptation is written by Kumiko Aso and directed by Daiden Yamauchi.
Plot Synopsis
The narrative follows Ayumi Tsubokura, a former actress who lives with her husband Wataru—a businessman and restaurant owner—alongside a daughter from Wataru's previous marriage. Outwardly, Ayumi is perceived as a wealthy and happy housewife, but she privately experiences emotional abuse from her husband. Her primary sanctuary is her kitchen, where she cooks and finds solitude. Her routine shifts with the arrival of an Italian chef named Kei.
