The Scales of Justice (Korean: 신의저울; RR: Shinui Jeoeul) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS in 2008. The series, which focuses on the complexities of the legal system and the moral dilemmas faced by its characters, ran for 16 episodes from August 22 to October 24, 2008, airing on Friday nights.

Plot
The narrative centers on two men whose lives become inextricably linked by a tragic crime. Kim Woo-bin, who aspires to follow in his father's footsteps as a prosecutor, accidentally kills a woman. Despite his initial intention to confess, he is persuaded by his mother to conceal the incident to protect his future. The victim is the girlfriend of Jang Joon-ha. In a turn of events, Joon-ha's brother confesses to the crime to save Joon-ha from involvement, leading to a life sentence that ultimately results in the death of Joon-ha's mother from grief.
Years later, Joon-ha passes the bar exam with the goal of proving his brother's innocence. He eventually befriends Woo-bin during a law trainee program, unaware of Woo-bin's role in the original tragedy. As the truth begins to surface, the relationship between the two men shifts, leading to a confrontation over justice, guilt, and the misuse of legal power.
