The Great Seer (Korean: 대풍수; RR: Daepoongsoo) is a South Korean historical television series that aired on SBS from October 10, 2012, to February 7, 2013. The drama consists of 35 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 21:55.
Set during the final years of the Goryeo Dynasty, the narrative centers on the influence of geomancy and divination in the political landscape of the era. The plot follows the efforts of scholars and powerful figures who utilize these traditional theories to identify a leader capable of establishing a new dynasty, eventually leading to the rise of the Joseon Dynasty and the historical figure Lee Sung-Kye.
