Tantei no Tantei

Tantei no Tantei (Japanese: 探偵の探偵) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from July 9 to September 17, 2015. The series consists of 11 episodes and was directed by Yusuke Ishii, Shunsuke Shinada, and Tomonobu Moriwaki. The screenplay was written by Yuichi Tokunaga, based on the novel of the same name by Keisuke Matsuoka, which was published by Kodanshabunko on November 14, 2014.

Plot

The story follows Rena Sasaki, a woman with exceptional memory and intelligence. Driven by the murder of her younger sister at the hands of a stalker, Rena becomes a private detective. Her primary mission is to investigate and expose unethical private detectives, specifically targeting those who facilitate criminal activities, such as the individual who provided her sister's location to the stalker.
