Takeshi Igawa (Japanese: 井川尊史) is a Japanese television director known primarily for his work on drama series broadcast by networks such as TV Tokyo and NHK.

Career and Major Works

Igawa has directed multiple seasons of the long-running television drama series Solitary Gourmet (Kodoku no Gourmet), which is based on the manga of the same name created by Jiro Taniguchi and Masayuki Kusumi. His involvement with the franchise spans several seasons, including Season 3 (2013), Season 4 (2014), Season 5 (2015), Season 6 (2017), Season 8 (2019), and Season 9 (2021), as well as the 2024 series Sorezore no Kodoku no Gourmet.

In addition to the Solitary Gourmet franchise, Igawa's directing credits include other television projects such as Hiru no Sento Zake in 2016 and the NHK drama series Bookshelf Restaurant (Hondana Shokudo) in 2015.
