Takashi Sorimachi (born December 19, 1973) is a prominent Japanese actor and singer. Hailing from Urawa-ku, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, he stands 181 centimeters tall and has blood type AB. Over a career spanning multiple decades, Sorimachi has established himself as a recognizable figure in Japanese television dramas and cinema.

Career and Notable Roles

Sorimachi gained widespread recognition for his starring role as Eikichi Onizuka in the 1998 television drama series GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka. His portrayal of the unconventional teacher became a defining role of his career. In addition to television dramas, he has appeared in numerous films, including Fulltime Killer (2001), Yamato (2005), The Blue Wolf: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea (2007), and The Liar and His Lover (2013).
