Takahiro Miki
Takahiro Miki (三木孝浩) is a Japanese film director and screenwriter born on August 29, 1974, in Japan. He has directed a substantial body of feature films and television drama series, frequently working within the romance, drama, and youth genres.

Directing Career
Miki began his feature film directing career with works such as Solanin in 2010 and Control Tower in 2011. Over the subsequent decade, he directed numerous film adaptations of popular manga and novels, including the two-part film We Were There (2012), Girl In The Sunny Place (2013), Blue Spring Ride (2014), and My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday (2016).
His later film projects include Your Eyes Tell (2020), The Door into Summer (2021), Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (2022), and Drawing Closer (2024). In addition to cinema releases, Miki has directed television drama series for various networks and streaming platforms, such as Partner in Darkness (WOWOW, 2015) and My Undead Yokai Girlfriend (Amazon Prime Video, 2024).
Screenwriting
Alongside his directing credits, Miki has contributed as a screenwriter on select projects, notably co-writing Control Tower (2011) and Love Me, Love Me Not (2020).
