Tada Rikon Shitenai dake (Japanese: ただ離婚してないだけ), known internationally by its literal title We Are Just Not Divorced, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Tokyo in 2021. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Yuki Honda, which was serialized in Young Animal Arashi from 2017 to 2020.

Premise

The story follows Masataka Kakino, a freelance writer, and his wife Yukie, a school teacher. Despite having been married for seven years, the couple shares a cold, loveless relationship, remaining together only because they have not yet finalized a divorce. The narrative takes a dark turn when Masataka engages in an extramarital affair with a newspaper delivery woman, leading to a series of escalating and shocking events.

The drama was directed by Mari Asato, Kyoya Kakuda, and Taku Matsumoto, with screenplays written by Shinichi Tanaka and Masashi Shimizu. It premiered on July 7, 2021, and concluded its 12-episode run on September 29, 2021, airing on Wednesday nights.
