Sweet Home Season 2

Sweet Home Season 2 is a South Korean horror drama series that premiered on Netflix on December 1, 2023. The series serves as the second installment in the Sweet Home franchise, which is based on the webcomic of the same name by Kim Kan-Bi and Hwang Young-Chan, originally published on Naver Webtoon starting in 2017.

Plot

The narrative follows the survivors from the Green Home apartment complex, including Cha Hyun-Su, played by Song Kang. In this season, the characters leave their initial sanctuary to face the dangers of the outside world. The survivors congregate at a baseball stadium, where they attempt to establish a new community. They are forced to contend with both the external threat of monsters and the internal dangers posed by the conflicting desires of the human survivors.

Production and Release

The series was directed by Lee Eung-Bok and Park So-Hyun. It consists of eight episodes and was released globally via the Netflix streaming platform. It follows the 2020 series Sweet Home and precedes the 2024 release of Sweet Home 3.
