Plot

The story centers on Ha-young (Lee Yo-won), who is tasked by her best friend, Mi-ryung (Kim Min-hee), with a difficult favor. Mi-ryung intends to throw a surprise party for her boyfriend, Jun-woo (Shin Ha-kyun). However, when Mi-ryung's father discovers that Jun-woo is of mixed heritage, he forbids the event. Complications arise when Jun-woo arrives in South Korea earlier than expected. Mi-ryung convinces Ha-young to intercept him at the airport and keep him occupied for 12 hours while she attempts to resolve the situation with her family.

As Ha-young attempts to delay Jun-woo, the two find themselves in a series of increasingly absurd and embarrassing situations. Despite the initial friction, Jun-woo becomes amused by the ordeal, and the pair begins to develop romantic feelings for one another. This creates a moral conflict for Ha-young, who struggles with the realization that she is falling for her best friend's boyfriend.
