ST: Red and White Investigation File
ST: Red and White Investigation File (Japanese: ST 赤と白の捜査ファイル, Hepburn: ST Aka to Shiro no Sosa Fairu) is a 2014 Japanese television drama series broadcast by Nippon Television (NTV). The series centers on the Scientific Task Force (ST), an elite unit of researchers within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department tasked with solving complex criminal cases.

Premise
The narrative follows the dynamics between the eccentric leader of the ST, Samon Akagi (played by Tatsuya Fujiwara), and the young inspector assigned to manage the team, Tomohisa Yurine (played by Masaki Okada). Together with a group of specialized researchers, they apply scientific methodology to investigate challenging crimes that standard police procedures struggle to resolve.
Production
The series is based on the novel ST Keishicho Kagaku Tokusou Han, written by Bin Konno and originally published by Kodansha Ltd. in March 1998. The television adaptation was directed by Toya Sato, Makoto Naganuma, and Manami Yamashita, with a screenplay by Yusuke Watanabe and Katsunari Mano. The series aired from July 16 to September 17, 2014, in the Wednesday 22:00 time slot.
