Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in Tokyo, Fukushi entered the entertainment industry in the early 2011s. He made his acting debut in the television series Misaki Number One!! and quickly gained recognition when he was cast as the lead character Gentaro Kisaragi in the tokusatsu television series Kamen Rider Fourze (2011–2012). This role served as a major breakthrough in his early career, leading to multiple feature film appearances tied to the Kamen Rider franchise.

Film and Television Career

Following his success in tokusatsu, Fukushi expanded his repertoire into romantic comedies, action films, and television dramas. In 2013, he appeared in the NHK morning drama Amachan, which raised his profile nationally. He received the Rookie of the Year award at the 38th Japan Academy Prize in 2015 for his film performances.
