Sorezore no Kodoku no Gourmet Japanese Television Drama

Sorezore no Kodoku no Gourmet (Japanese: それぞれの孤独のグルメ) is a Japanese television drama series broadcast on TV Tokyo. The series aired from October 4 to December 20, 2024, taking over the Friday 24:12 time slot previously occupied by Kinshicho Paradise and preceding Kaseifu Kuromi wa Kusatta Kazoku wo Yurusanai in January 2025.

Background and Production

The series is based on the manga Kodoku no Gourmet, written by Masayuki Qusumi and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi. The original manga was serialized between 1994 and 1996 in the magazine Monthly PANJA and later ran from 2008 to 2015 in Shukan SPA!. The television project was directed by Ryuichi Kitahata, Takeshi Igawa, Kento Kitao, and Taiki Nakayama, with scripts written by Yoshihiro Taguchi alongside original creator Masayuki Qusumi.

The production features Yutaka Matsushige returning as Goro Inogashira, alongside an extensive supporting cast appearing across the 12 episodes, including Makita Sports, Yuka Itaya, Yusuke Santamaria, Mitsuru Hirata, Haru Kuroki, and Manami Higa among others.
