Shoumonai Bokura no Renairon (Japanese: しょうもない僕らの恋愛論), also known by its English title Lost and Found, is a Japanese television drama series that aired from January 19 to March 23, 2023. The series was broadcast on the NTV and YTV networks in the Thursday 23:59 time slot.
Production and Background
The drama is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hidenori Hara. The original manga was serialized in the magazine Big Comic from January 10, 2019, to March 26, 2021. The television adaptation was directed by Keisuke Kondo, Hana Matsumoto, and Ryuichi Honda, with a screenplay developed by Nanoha Ito, Keisuke Kondo, Yuko Imanishi, and Rin Ando.

Plot Synopsis
The story centers on Takuro Tsutsumi, an editorial designer in his 40s who faces various challenges in his professional and personal life. His life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a social media friend request from a woman named Anna Tanimura, with whom he had a romantic relationship during his university years. Upon arranging a meeting, he discovers that the person who contacted him is not Anna, but her 17-year-old daughter, Kurumi Tanimura. She informs him of her mother's passing, prompting Takuro to reflect on past promises and unfulfilled aspirations. The encounter also influences Kurumi, who begins to reconsider her own future.
Parallel to this, Eri Morita, a long-time friend of Takuro since their high school days, struggles with her own hidden feelings for him. A single woman in her 40s working for an electronics manufacturer, Eri has kept her affection secret for over two decades to preserve their friendship, but the arrival of Kurumi forces her to confront her emotions.
