Seven Secretaries (Japanese: 七人の秘書; Romaji: Shichinin no Hisho) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi in 2020. The series follows a group of secretaries who utilize their professional skills and access to information to assist the vulnerable and address injustices.

Plot

The story centers on a clandestine group consisting of secretaries and a former judicial scrivener, Keitaro Ban, who now operates a ramen restaurant. The group intervenes in various situations to provide support to those in need and to challenge corrupt individuals. The narrative begins with the death of President Ichihara of Toto Bank, an event that brings the group together to manage the aftermath and conceal evidence.

Production and Release

The series was broadcast on TV Asahi, airing on Thursdays at 21:00. It ran for 8 episodes from October 22 to December 10, 2020. The production team included directors Naomi Tamura, Osamu Katayama, and Hayato Yamada, with scripts written by Miho Nakazono, Takafumi Kosaka, and Makoto Hayashi.
