Second to Last Love (2016 South Korean TV Series)
Second to Last Love (Korean: 끝에서 두번째 사랑) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from July 30 to October 16, 2016. The series consists of 20 episodes and was broadcast during the Saturday and Sunday 22:00 time slot. It is a remake of the 2012 Japanese Fuji TV drama series of the same name.

Plot
The story follows the lives of two single individuals in their 40s. Ko Sang-Sik, played by Ji Jin-Hee, serves as the environmental facility section chief at city hall. His life becomes intertwined with Kang Min-Joo, portrayed by Kim Hee-Ae, who works as a production director (PD) at a broadcasting station. The narrative explores their perspectives on life, work, and romance as they navigate the challenges of middle age.
Production
The series was directed by Choi Hyeong-Hun and written by Choi Yoon-Jung. The premiere date was originally scheduled for July 23, 2016, but was delayed by one week to July 30, 2016, to allow lead actor Ji Jin-Hee time to recover from an injury sustained during filming. The production team also considered other casting options, including an offer to Yoon Doo-Joon of the group B2ST for a major supporting role, which he declined.
