Sand Clock (2008 Film)
Sand Clock (Japanese: 砂時計, Hepburn: Sunadokei) is a 2008 Japanese romance film directed by Shinsuke Sato. The screenplay, written by Shinsuke Sato, is based on the manga series of the same name by Hinako Ashihara. The film was distributed by Toho and released in Japan on April 26, 2008.

Plot
The story follows Ann Minase, a young girl who relocates to her mother's rural hometown following her parents' divorce. During her time in the countryside, she forms a deep bond with Daigo Kitamura, who becomes her first love and helps her navigate the challenges of her new environment. The narrative explores Ann's emotional journey as she copes with significant personal loss, including the suicide of her mother.
