Ryoki-teki na Kanojo (Japanese: 猟奇的な彼女) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on the TBS network in 2008. The series is a remake of the 2001 South Korean film My Sassy Girl, though it features significant changes to character backgrounds, names, and specific plot details to suit the television format.

Plot Summary

The story follows Saburo Masaki (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi), an ordinary marine biology teacher. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Riko Takami (Reina Tanaka) on a train platform. After saving her from a potential accident, he discovers that Riko is not the gentle person she appears to be. Her erratic behavior leads to a series of chaotic events, including a misunderstanding at a hotel that results in Saburo being briefly held by the police. When Saburo returns to his teaching duties, he is shocked to find Riko enrolled as one of his students, marking the beginning of a tumultuous relationship.
