Renai no Susume

Renai no Susume (Japanese: 恋愛のすゝめ) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on the TBS network. The series consists of eight episodes and was broadcast from November 21, 2023, to January 16, 2024.

Plot

The story centers on Keisuke Otori, a student at a prestigious high school known for its rigid academic environment. The school enforces a strict policy that prohibits all forms of entertainment, including romantic relationships. Students found dating face immediate expulsion. When Keisuke falls in love for the first time, he decides to challenge the school's restrictive rules. While his peers initially attempt to dissuade him, his sincerity eventually influences those around him.

Production

The series was directed by Yoshihiro Ito, Ayato Matsuda, and Ryosuke Fukawa, with scripts written by Norihito Nakayashiki and Takeshi Miyamoto. It aired in the Tuesday 24:58 time slot on TBS, succeeding the drama Kimi ni wa Todokanai.
