Recipe for Farewell (Korean: 오늘은 좀 매울지도 몰라; RR: Oneuleun Jom Maewoolji Molla) is a South Korean television drama series that aired from December 1, 2022, to January 5, 2023, on the streaming platform Watcha. The series is based on the 2018 non-fiction novel of the same name by author Kang Chang-Rae.

Plot

The story follows Kang Chang-Wook (Han Suk-Kyu), a man in his 40s who works as a translator and humanities instructor. His life changes when his wife, Jung Da-Jung (Kim Seo-Hyung), is diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer. As her condition progresses, she struggles with digestive issues that make eating difficult. Despite his limited culinary experience—having previously only known how to prepare ramen—Chang-Wook begins to cook meals for his wife. The series depicts his efforts to provide nourishment and comfort through food as they navigate the challenges of her illness.
