Pretty Insun

Pretty Insun (Korean: 인순이는 예쁘다; RR: Insunyineun Yeoppeuda) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 in 2007. The series, directed by Pyo Min-soo and written by Jung Yoo-gyung, consists of 16 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Park In-soon, a woman who faces significant societal challenges. Abandoned by her mother at birth and raised by her grandmother in poverty, she later serves a prison sentence for accidentally killing someone during her high school years. The narrative explores her struggles to reintegrate into society while dealing with the stigma of her past and the perceptions of those around her.
