Paradise Ranch
Paradise Ranch (Korean: 파라다이스 목장; RR: Paradaiseu Mokjang) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from January 24, 2011, to March 15, 2011. The romantic drama follows the lives of a young couple who married in their teens and subsequently divorced, only to cross paths again years later.

Plot Synopsis
The story centers on Han Dong-joo (played by Shim Chang-min) and Lee Da-ji (played by Lee Yeon-hee), who were childhood friends that married at a young age before divorcing shortly after. Six years later, Lee Da-ji works as a veterinarian and manages her family's ranch on Jeju Island. Meanwhile, Han Dong-joo works for his family's business.
The narrative expands when Lee Da-ji travels to Australia to purchase a horse, where she encounters Seo Yoon-ho (played by Joo Sang-wook), an investor working for a major resort company. During this time, she also runs into her ex-husband, Han Dong-joo, who is accompanied by Park Jin-young (played by Yu Ha-na). Complications arise when Han Dong-joo's family company plans to develop a resort on the land where Lee Da-ji's ranch is located, leading to a series of personal and professional conflicts.

Production
The series was directed by Kim Cheol-kyu, with a screenplay written by Jang Hyun-joo and Seo Hee-jeong. Filming for the production spanned six months, beginning on December 17, 2009, and concluding on May 26, 2010. The show occupied the Monday and Tuesday 20:55 time slot on SBS, following the conclusion of It's Okay, Daddy's Girl.

Paradise Ranch marked the acting debut of Shim Chang-min, a member of the K-pop group TVXQ. For this role, he was credited by his birth name, Shim Chang-min, rather than his stage name, Choi Kang Chang Min.
