Paradise Lost (Korean: 실낙원; RR: Silnakwon) is a South Korean dramatic feature film written and directed by Yeon Sang-Ho. Distributed by CJ Entertainment, the film features principal cast members Kim Hyun-Joo and Bae Hyun-Sung.

Production

Principal photography for Paradise Lost commenced in December 2025. The film is scheduled to hold its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2026, followed by a theatrical release in South Korea in October 2026.

Plot Synopsis

Ryu So-Young, a single mother, raises her son Ryu Sun-Woo independently until the boy vanishes during a camping school bus disappearance. Consumed by the tragedy, she continually visits the route where he was last seen. Nine years later, her son returns home as a grown adult.
