Our Unwritten Seoul (Korean: 미지의 서울; RR: Mijiui Seoul) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN in 2025. The drama, directed by Park Shin-Woo and written by Lee Kang, consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast in the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot.
Plot
The story follows identical twin sisters, Yu Mi-Ji and Yu Mi-Rae, both portrayed by Park Bo-Young. Despite their physical resemblance, the sisters lead vastly different lives. Yu Mi-Ji is a former track and field athlete who currently lives a carefree, unconventional lifestyle. In contrast, her older sister, Yu Mi-Rae, is a perfectionist who has followed an elite career path, eventually securing a position at a government-owned corporation. The plot centers on the sisters' decision to exchange their lives, leading to a series of complications and personal discoveries.
The narrative also introduces Lee Ho-Su (Jin Young), a lawyer at a major firm. Although he maintains a carefree public persona, he has worked diligently to overcome a traumatic event from his past. His life becomes intertwined with the twins, ultimately prompting all three characters to confront their true selves.
Production
The series title, Mijiui Seoul, is noted for its dual meaning in Korean, translating to either "Mi-Ji's Seoul" or "Unknown Seoul." The drama premiered on May 24, 2025, and concluded its run on June 29, 2025. It occupied the time slot previously held by Resident Playbook and was succeeded by Law and the City on July 5, 2025.
