Omoi Nokoshi (2014 Film)
Omoi Nokoshi (Japanese: 想いのこし), released internationally as Lingering Spirits, is a 2014 Japanese fantasy-drama film directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa. The screenplay, written by Takaya Okamoto, is based on Okamoto's own novel, Kanojo tono Jozuna Wakarekata, which was published by Shogakukan in 2010.

Plot
The story follows Gajirou Honda (Masaki Okada), a self-centered man primarily motivated by money and women. After surviving a car accident, he discovers that the driver of the vehicle and three pole dancers involved in the same crash have died. Shortly thereafter, the spirits of the four deceased individuals appear to him. They offer him a significant sum of money they left behind, provided he fulfills their final, uncompleted wishes. As Gajirou attempts to carry out these tasks, he undergoes a personal transformation.
Production
The film was produced by Motoko Kimura and distributed by Toei. Filming commenced on December 12, 2013, and concluded in mid-January 2014. During its development, the project used the working title Kanojo tono Jozuna Wakarekata, which translates to "Ways to Skillfully Say Goodbye to Her."
