Number One is a South Korean drama film directed by Kim Tae-Yong. The film, which features a runtime of 104 minutes, was released on February 11, 2026. It is distributed by BY4M Studio.
Plot
The story follows Ha-Min, played by Choi Woo-Sik, who begins to perceive a mysterious countdown that decreases by one every time he consumes a meal prepared by his mother, Eun-Sil (Jang Hye-Jin). He eventually discovers that when the number reaches zero, his mother will pass away.
Production
The film is based on the Japanese novel Anata ga Hahaoya no Te Ryouri o Taberareru Kaisuu wa, Nokori 328 Kai desu by Sora Uwano, which was published by Ichijinsha on August 10, 2018. The screenplay was adapted by Kim Tae-Yong and Sora Uwano, with production led by Lee Jeong-Im and cinematography by Mun Yong-Gun.
