Plot

The story follows Saburo, a modern-day high school student who struggles academically but excels in sports. Through an unexplained event, he is transported back in time to the Sengoku period in 1549. Upon his arrival, he encounters Oda Nobunaga, a historical warlord who bears a striking physical resemblance to him. Because the historical Nobunaga is physically frail, he asks Saburo to assume his identity. Saburo agrees, taking on the role of the warlord as he attempts to navigate the political turmoil of the era and work toward the unification of Japan.
