Naoki Kato (Japanese: 加藤直輝) is a Japanese filmmaker, television director, and screenwriter. He has worked across both feature films and television drama series, directing and writing projects spanning independent cinema and commercial broadcasting.

Career and Filmography

Naoki Kato has contributed to Japanese media as both a director and a screenwriter. His early career featured work in feature films, including writing and directing Konjaku monogatari: The new edition in 2007 and the drama film Abraxas (Aburakusasu no Matsuri) in 2010.

In addition to his work in cinema, Kato has directed episodes for numerous Japanese television drama series across major networks:
