Ms. Hammurabi (South Korean TV Series)
Ms. Hammurabi is a South Korean legal drama series that aired on the JTBC network in 2018. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Monday and Tuesday nights at 23:00. The show is based on the 2015 novel of the same name written by Moon Yoo-Seok, which was originally serialized in the daily newspaper The Hankyoreh. Moon Yoo-Seok also served as the screenwriter for the television adaptation.

Production
The series was produced as a 100% pre-produced drama, with filming commencing in January 2018. The first script reading for the cast took place on January 16, 2018. The show occupied the JTBC Monday and Tuesday time slot following the conclusion of Welcome to Waikiki and was succeeded by the drama Life in July 2018.
During its broadcast, the schedule for episode 7 was adjusted due to external events. Originally planned for June 11, 2018, the episode was delayed by one day to June 12, 2018, to accommodate news coverage of the summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in Singapore.
Plot
The story follows Park Cha O Reum, a rookie judge in her mid-20s who adheres to the principle of "an eye for an eye." She is characterized by her refusal to accept prejudice or blindly follow authority. As she navigates various legal cases, she and her colleagues, including the judge Im Ba-Reun, undergo personal and professional growth.
