Plot

The narrative centers on Choi Young-Jin, played by Kim Hee-Ae, a determined detective squad chief who navigates the complexities of solving brutal crimes while simultaneously raising her daughter, Ha-Eun. Her work involves leading a team of detectives, including senior officer Park Jong-Ho (Kim Min-Jong) and squad members Min Do-Young (Lee Da-Hee), Han Jin-Woo (Son Ho-Jun), Jo Jae-Deok (Heo Jung-Do), and Lee Se-Won (Lee Gi-Kwang).

Production

The production of Mrs. Cop involved several key milestones. The first script reading was held on July 4, 2015, at the SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, South Korea. During the casting process, actor Park Yong-Woo was initially offered the lead male role but ultimately declined. The series succeeded the drama High Society in its time slot and was followed by Six Flying Dragons (often referred to as The Roots of Throne) in October 2015.
