Mourning Grave (2014 Film)
Mourning Grave (Korean: 소녀괴담; RR: Sonyeogoedam) is a 2014 South Korean horror-thriller film directed by Oh In-Chun. The film explores themes of isolation and supernatural phenomena within a high school setting.

Plot
In-Soo (played by Kang Ha-Neul) is a student who possesses the ability to see ghosts, a gift that has led to his social isolation. Seeking a fresh start, he transfers to a high school located in a rural area outside of Seoul. Upon his arrival, he encounters a mysterious female ghost (played by Kim So-Eun) and develops an unexpected friendship with her. As In-Soo navigates his new environment, his classmates begin to disappear under mysterious circumstances.
Production
The film was produced by Lee Hong-Ho, Joo Sung-Ho, and Lee Sang-Hun. Principal photography commenced on February 27, 2014, at a high school in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, and concluded on April 4, 2014. The film was distributed by Little Big Pictures.

The production underwent a title change during its development. The original Korean title was Sonyeomoodeom (literally "The Girl's Grave"). Following the Sewol Ferry tragedy in 2014, the production team opted to change the title to Sonyeogoedam (literally "Girl Ghost Story").

Mourning Grave was released in South Korea on July 3, 2014. It was selected for the World Fantastic Cinema section at the 18th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, which took place from July 17 to July 27, 2014.
