Miss the Train (2014)

Miss the Train (Korean: 미성년; RR: Miseongnyeon) is a 2014 South Korean drama film directed by Lee Kyung-Sub. The film had its world premiere at the 15th Jeonju International Film Festival, held from May 1 to May 10, 2014, where it was featured in the Korean Competition section.

Plot

The story follows Sojin (played by Park Joo-Hee), a young woman living with her mother, who works as a shaman, in a rural area outside a small town. Sojin harbors deep resentment toward her environment and her mother's profession. Following the death of her mother, Sojin attempts to leave her life behind by traveling to Seoul by train. Her plans are disrupted when she misses her train and becomes entangled in a search for a missing boy, while also encountering a man named Hyun-Woo (played by Kwon Yool) who operates a small chocolate-making business from his garage.
