Miss Sherlock is a Japanese television drama series that premiered on April 27, 2018. The series serves as a contemporary reimagining of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories, transplanting the setting to modern-day Tokyo. It was produced through a collaboration between Hulu and HBO Asia.

Premise

The series follows Sara "Sherlock" Shelly Futaba, an investigation consultant for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. Born in Britain and raised in Japan, Sherlock possesses a brilliant mind but struggles with interpersonal relationships. She eventually forms an investigative partnership with Wato Tachibana, a surgeon who is guided by a strong sense of justice. Together, they solve complex criminal cases in Tokyo.
