Plot Synopsis

As children, Ryunosuke Masuko and Takumi Uetani played with fireworks, accidentally triggering an apartment building fire. The blaze resulted in the death of Jun Nomoto's wife and child, while leaving Jun himself severely burned. Fifteen years later, Ryunosuke attempts to live a normal life while burdened by suppressed childhood guilt, whereas Takumi remains psychologically frozen in time since the incident.

The central narrative unfolds when Jun Nomoto unexpectedly reappears in their lives, exhibiting an unsettling kindness toward both men. While Ryunosuke feels deeply unsettled by Jun's behavior, Takumi perceives this strange benevolence as a ray of salvation.
