Lady Vengeance (2005 Film)
Lady Vengeance (Korean: 친절한 금자씨; RR: Chinjeolhan Geumjassi) is a 2005 South Korean suspense-thriller directed by Park Chan-wook. While the films share a common thematic focus on vengeance, their narratives are independent of one another.

Plot

Upon her release, she is met by a preacher (Kim Byung-ok) who offers her traditional tofu, a symbolic gesture of a clean start. Geum-ja rejects the offering and begins a calculated quest to exact revenge on Mr. Baek (Choi Min-sik), the man who framed her for the crime and destroyed her life. Throughout her journey, she reconnects with former prison inmates and reunites with her daughter, Jenny (Kwon Ye-young).
