Kurumi no Heya (2011 TV Series)
Kurumi no Heya (Japanese: 胡桃の部屋) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NHK from July 26 to August 30, 2011. The series is based on the novel of the same name by author Kuniko Mukoda and was adapted for television by screenwriter Eriko Shinozaki.

Plot
Set in Tokyo in 1980, the story follows the Mitamura family. Momoko Mitamura, played by Nao Matsushita, is the second of four siblings. The family faces significant upheaval when the father, Tadashi Mitamura, is laid off from his job and subsequently leaves the household. Momoko takes on the responsibility of managing the family's affairs and attempting to keep them united during this period of instability. The narrative explores the struggles of the individual family members, including their mother Ayano, sister Sakura, and brother Kentaro.
