Koji Kato

Koji Kato (born April 26, 1969) is a Japanese comedian and actor. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, he is widely recognized for his long-standing career in the Japanese entertainment industry, particularly as a member of the comedy duo Gokuraku Tombo.

Career

Kato has maintained a consistent presence in both television dramas and film. His acting credits include roles in various TBS and Fuji TV productions. Notable television appearances include his role as Hideto Ikenaga in the Black Pean series (2018, 2024) and his portrayal of Usagimaru in the NHK Taiga drama Taira no Kiyomori (2012). His filmography features appearances in projects such as Kurosagi (2008) and Ashita no Joe (2011), as well as voice acting work for the 2011 animated film Doraemon: Nobita and the New Steel Troops: ~Angel Wings~.
