Keiji Zero
Keiji Zero (Japanese: 刑事ゼロ, lit. "Detective Zero") is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi from January 10 to March 14, 2019. The series consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast in the network's Thursday 20:00 time slot.
Plot
The story follows Rekihiko Tokiya (played by Ikki Sawamura), a skilled detective based in Kyoto. During a pursuit of a suspect, Tokiya falls into a water storage tank at an abandoned factory. Upon waking in a hospital, he discovers he has developed retrograde amnesia. At 51 years old, he has no memory of the previous 20 years of his life, including his career as a detective and his past marriage. While his personality has shifted from a confident investigator to a more timid individual, his commitment to justice remains intact. He continues to work as a detective, approaching cases with a new perspective necessitated by his memory loss.

The series was directed by Takuro Oikawa with a screenplay written by Masashi Todayama. It occupied the Thursday 20:00 time slot on TV Asahi, following the conclusion of The Woman of S.R.I. Season 18 and preceding The Woman of S.R.I. Season 19.
