Joe Odagiri
Joe Odagiri (born February 16, 1976) is a Japanese actor who has maintained a prolific career in both film and television. Born in Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, he pursued formal training in acting in both the United States and Japan before establishing himself in the Japanese entertainment industry.

Career
Odagiri is recognized for his versatility, appearing in a wide range of projects spanning various genres. His filmography includes notable roles in works such as Bright Future (2003), Azumi (2003), Blood and Bones (2004), and Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad (2007). He has also collaborated on international productions, including the 2011 film My Way, directed by Kang Je-Gyu.
In television, he is well-known for his lead role in the Time Limit Investigator (Jiko Keisatsu) series, which began in 2006. His other television credits include roles in Shinsengumi! (2004), Midnight Diner (2009), and Come Come Everybody (2021–2022).
Personal Life
Joe Odagiri married actress Yu Kashii on February 2, 2008. In 2015, the couple experienced the loss of their second child, who passed away on June 20 at the age of one due to an intestinal obstruction.
