I Have a Lover (South Korean TV Series)

I Have a Lover (Korean: 애인있어요; RR: Ae-in-it-seo-yo) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from August 22, 2015, to February 28, 2016. The series consists of 50 episodes and was broadcast during the network's Saturday and Sunday 22:00 time slot.

Plot Synopsis

The story centers on Do Hae-gang (played by Kim Hyun-joo), a highly successful but ambitious lawyer whose pursuit of professional success leads to the deterioration of her marriage with her husband, Choi Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee). As their relationship fractures, Jin-eon encounters Kang Seol-ri (Park Han-byul), a graduate student whose enthusiastic and pure personality reminds him of his wife during their earlier years. Following a tragic accident, Hae-gang suffers from memory loss and begins living under the identity of her long-lost twin sister, Dokgo Yong-gi, eventually crossing paths with Baek Seok (Lee Gyu-han).

Production

The series was directed by Choi Mun-seok and written by Bae Yoo-mi. The initial script reading for the production took place on June 27, 2015, at the SBS Production Center in Ilsan, South Korea. The series replaced The Time We Were Not In Love in its time slot and was succeeded by Mrs. Cop 2 in March 2016.
