I Am a Dad (Korean: 나는 아빠다; RR: Naneun Abbada) is a 2011 South Korean crime drama film. The movie was directed by Jeon Man-Bae and Lee Se-Young, with a screenplay written by Yoon Hyun-Ho. It was released in South Korea on April 14, 2011, and distributed by Lotte Entertainment.

Plot
The story follows Han Jong-Sik (Kim Seung-Woo), a corrupt police detective who engages in illegal activities and frames innocent individuals to secure money and favors for the benefit of his ailing daughter, Min-Ji (Kim Sae-Ron). When an organ transplant coordinator named Soo-Kyung (Choi Jung-Yoon) finally finds a heart donor for Min-Ji, a conflict arises. The donor's guardian is Na Sang-Man (Son Byung-Ho), a magician who was previously imprisoned due to a false accusation orchestrated by Jong-Sik.
As Detective Kim (Lim Ha-Ryong) begins to uncover evidence that Sang-Man was wrongly convicted, Jong-Sik realizes that Sang-Man may prevent the life-saving transplant. Desperate to ensure his daughter's survival, Jong-Sik plans to hand Sang-Man over to criminal associates. Anticipating this, Sang-Man kidnaps Min-Ji.

The film's production began on October 22, 2010. During its development phase, the project was known by the working title Nomui Yeokseup, which translates literally to "His Counterattack."
