Hotei no Dragon

Hotei no Dragon (Japanese: 法廷のドラゴン) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Tokyo from January 17 to March 7, 2025. The series consists of eight episodes and was broadcast in the network's Friday 21:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Kotaro Fuda, a lawyer who manages the Fuda Law Office, a firm he inherited from his late father. Despite his dedication to his clients, the firm faces financial instability. His life changes when he encounters Tatsumi Tendo at a courthouse. Tendo, who once aspired to be a professional shogi player, provides Fuda with an accurate prediction regarding the outcome of a case he is handling. Impressed by her insight, Fuda hires her on a trial basis. Tendo applies the strategic thinking and analytical skills she developed through the board game of shogi to assist in solving complex legal cases.
