Horror Stories III (2016 Film)

Horror Stories III (Korean: 무서운 이야기 3: 화성에서 온 소녀) is a 2016 South Korean horror anthology film. It serves as the third installment in the Horror Stories series, following the 2012 and 2013 entries. The film features a framing narrative, Girl From Mars, which connects three distinct horror segments set in different time periods.

Production and Release

The film was directed by a collaborative team consisting of Baek Seung-Bin, Kim Sun, Kim Gok, and Min Kyu-Dong. It was distributed by Lotte Entertainment and released in South Korea on June 2, 2016. The total runtime is 94 minutes.

Segments

The anthology is structured around a framing story titled Girl From Mars, which introduces three horror tales:

Fox Valley (Yeowugol): Set in the past, featuring actors Im Seul-Ong, Ji An, Min Moo-Je, and Kim Jong-Soo.
Road Rage: A contemporary horror segment starring Kyung Soo-Jin, Park Jeong-Min, and Lee Dae-Yeon.
